Bablu is an unemployed young man whose father is ashamed of him, so he decides to make himself useful to Shankar Goud, a powerful Hyderabad don who values loyalty above everything. Bablu soon becomes a favourite of the gang, but he also falls in love with Pooja, the don's beloved younger sister, who is meant to marry someone of her brother's choosing. To make things worse, the don has deadly rivals of his own. Dhee ("clash") is a fast, comic entertainer in Srinu Vaitla's style and was a big hit for Vishnu Manchu, with Srihari's commanding don and Brahmanandam's hapless Chary among the comic highlights.
