Indhiran suffers from narcolepsy: strong emotion makes him fall instantly asleep, though he can still hear what goes on around him. He cannot hold a regular job and is treated as a joke, until Meera, a rich and lively young woman, falls in love with him precisely because he is different. Their happiness is shattered by a brutal attack, and Indhiran, who heard everything but could do nothing, sets out to track down those responsible, using his condition as best he can. Vishal produced the film and plays a role quite unlike his usual action heroes. The romance between him and Lakshmi Menon, including a much-discussed rain scene, drew attention, and G. V. Prakash Kumar composed the songs. It is known in Hindi as Pyaar Reloaded.
