Seenu is a carefree small-town trickster who heads to Bangalore for college and promptly falls for the sweet Sunaina. The trouble is that a hot-headed police officer has already decided she will marry him, and before Seenu can win her, Sunaina is kidnapped by a gangster whose daughter Ayesha has set her own sights on Seenu. What follows is a non-stop comic tangle of disguises, threats and romantic rivalry. Main Tera Hero is a remake of the Telugu hit Kandireega, and it was the second film of Varun Dhawan, directed by his father David Dhawan. Its loud, fast humour and songs such as Besharmi Ki Height, Palat and Galat Baat Hai made it a hit with young audiences.
