Jabariya Jodi (2019)

In parts of Bihar, families who cannot pay dowry have been known to kidnap eligible young men and marry them off by force, a practice called pakadua vivah. Abhay Singh runs just such a business with his father, a local strongman with political dreams, and sees himself as a kind of social worker. Then he runs into Babli, his feisty childhood sweetheart, and old feelings come back, but Abhay is not willing to be on the other side of his own business. Jabariya Jodi uses this real custom as the backdrop for a broad rustic romantic comedy, with a strong supporting cast led by Javed Jaffrey and Sanjay Mishra. It reunited Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra after Hasee Toh Phasee.
