Kaanch Ki Deewar (1986)

Kaanch Ki Deewar ("wall of glass") is a 1986 Hindi action drama headed by Sanjeev Kumar, Smita Patil and Amrish Puri. It is one of the films released after Sanjeev Kumar's death in November 1985, when several of his unfinished or delayed projects reached cinemas, which gives it a poignant place in the filmography of one of Hindi cinema's finest actors. Smita Patil, who herself died the following year, and Amrish Puri, then the defining screen villain of the decade, give the film a strong acting core. Its story follows the decade's familiar mix of family conflict, injustice and confrontation. Detailed production information is scarce.
