Dhana 51 (2005)

Dhana 51 is a 2005 Telugu action drama directed by Surya Kiran, the former child actor who had earlier directed Sumanth in the hit Satyam. Here Sumanth plays Dhana, a rough young man from the streets whose life of fights and small-time trouble begins to change when he falls for the girl played by Saloni, then a newcomer who would later be known for Maryada Ramanna. The film moves between romance and gritty action as Dhana's past and the men around him threaten his chance at a different life. It was an attempt to give Sumanth a tougher, massier image than his earlier romantic roles.
