Iyer IPS (2005)

Iyer IPS is a 2005 Tamil action film directed by Harirajan, with Sathyaraj, known for combining a commanding screen presence with sly humour, as a police officer of the title. Sanghavi appears as the female lead. The story follows the officer's campaign against criminals and the powerful people who shield them, mixing fights with comic touches in the style that made Sathyaraj a favourite in police roles. Little more is widely known about the film, and it is best taken as a straightforward cop entertainer.
