A young man is driving across a busy flyover in Hyderabad when the traffic grinds to a complete halt. As hours pass in the jam, he crosses paths with a young woman stuck nearby, and a love story begins to unfold among the stranded cars, told partly in flashback. But the jam itself is no accident: a dangerous plan is in motion, and he finds that he has a role to play in stopping it. Okka Ammayi Thappa ("except for one girl") is a Telugu romantic action thriller from writer-turned-director Rajasimha Tadinada, with songs by Mickey J. Meyer and Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan among the cast. Its unusual single-location premise is its main attraction.
