Narasimha and Chari are twins separated as babies. Narasimha, or Narsi, grows up as a fearless enforcer who works for a police officer, while Chari is raised among priests as a timid, fussy young man with a fondness for Sanskrit verses. When a criminal gang becomes a threat to them both, the brothers cross paths, and the confusion of identities drives the plot. Jr NTR plays both roles, and his comic turn as Chari, sparring with Brahmanandam's scheming Bhattu, made the film a fan favourite; their scenes are still widely shared and quoted. The action set pieces are in V. V. Vinayak's high-energy style, and Devi Sri Prasad's songs added to its appeal. Adhurs (slang for "terrific") was a hit in 2010.
