Dragon Wong grew up in the underworld as an enforcer for a triad boss, while his younger half-brother Tiger was raised at the Dragon Tiger Gate martial-arts school, sworn to fight injustice. When the brothers meet again on opposite sides of a fight over a stolen gang plaque, it stirs up a war with Shibumi, the masked leader of the powerful Luo Sha gang. With hot-headed fighter Turbo, they must unite to face him. Dragon Tiger Gate is based on the long-running Hong Kong comic Oriental Heroes by Tony Wong, and the film embraces its comic-book roots with stylised hair, costumes and over-the-top wire-assisted fights choreographed by Donnie Yen. The score is by Kenji Kawai.
