Qatl (1986)

Rakesh has lost his sight but kept his pride. When he learns that his wife is having an affair, he decides to take revenge in a way no one would ever suspect, since who would believe a blind man capable of murder? He rehearses every move of the crime with great care, learning his surroundings by touch, sound and count of steps. But an inspector played by Shatrughan Sinha starts to look closely at the case. Qatl is one of the last films of Sanjeev Kumar, released after his death in November 1985, and his controlled performance as the blind avenger is the main reason to watch it. It is a tight, old-fashioned suspense thriller in which the audience knows the plan and waits to see whether it will work.
