Vattam (2022)

Vattam ('circle') is a 2022 Tamil thriller directed by Kamalakannan, starring Sibi Sathyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah and Athulya Ravi. It follows a handful of people whose separate troubles bring them together over the course of one night, so that each person's choices ripple into the others' lives. Kamalakannan had earlier made the offbeat Tamil comedy Madhubaanakadai, and Vattam continues his interest in small, character-led stories. It was released directly to digital platforms.
