Balu grew up without a family, and as an adult he has turned that emptiness into an unusual service: he and his friends step into other people's homes as stand-ins for absent sons, brothers or grandsons, bringing comfort to the lonely. It is a gentle business until one of his assignments leads him into a family with dangerous problems, and his act of kindness puts him in harm's way. Entha Manchivaadavuraa ("what a good man you are") is a remake of the Gujarati film Oxygen and was directed by Satish Vegesna, who made the family hit Shatamanam Bhavati. Released for Sankranti 2020, it is a sentimental family drama with action elements, built around the value of human connection.
