Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke (2010)

Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke takes its title from the Hindi saying for someone who belongs neither here nor there. Ravi Kishan, the Bhojpuri superstar, plays a small-town man from Uttar Pradesh who comes to Mumbai for a job and is bewildered by the city, its ways and its people, while his family back home, played by Paresh Rawal and Neena Gupta, have their own ideas about his future. The comedy comes from the clash between village innocence and big-city life, a long-running theme in Hindi films. It is a gentle, small-scale comedy, with Paresh Rawal's presence as a draw.
