Mathi is a young film-maker who has been trying for years to get his first project made. After yet another rejection he goes out drinking, meets a writer named Malarvizhi, and goes home with her to flat K-13. He wakes the next morning bound to a chair, with her lifeless body nearby, and no memory of what happened. Trapped in the flat and terrified of being blamed, he has to piece together the night before. Barath Neelakantan's debut is a compact, largely single-location psychological thriller, built on a puzzle-box structure and anchored by Arulnithi and Shraddha Srinath. It will appeal to viewers who enjoy twisty mysteries.
