Rishi is a star of the dance world until an accident engineered by a jealous rival costs him the use of his legs and ends his career. Bitter and confined to a wheelchair, he notices Raghava, a boy from a poor background who has raw talent and nothing else. Rishi takes him under his wing, turning the youngster into a disciplined performer who can carry his mentor's dream onto the big competition stage, while the rival's camp does everything to stop them. The film is built around its dance numbers, giving two of South India's best-known choreographers, Prabhu Deva and Raghava Lawrence, a showcase for their own moves. Lawrence directed it as well as starring, and the songs feature guest appearances by Telugu stars Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna. A strong mix of melodrama, revenge and spectacle.
