Description

Pudhu Kavithai ("new poem") is a 1982 Tamil romantic drama directed by K. Vijayan, with Rajinikanth and Jyothi in the lead roles. It belongs to the period when Rajinikanth was moving from villain and anti-hero parts towards romantic and family-hero roles, and it tells a love story tested by status and family opposition. Ilaiyaraaja composed the songs, among them the well-loved "Vellai Pura Ondru". This page is for the Tamil film.
