Pizhai (2020)

Pizhai ("mistake") is a 2020 Tamil drama directed by Rajavel Krishna, with child actors Ramesh, known from Kakka Muttai, and Nasath, known from Appa, among its young leads, and Mime Gopi in a supporting role. It follows three boys from a poor village who, tired of beatings and scolding at home and school, decide to run away, and the trouble they meet once they leave. It is a small, socially minded film about childhood, poverty and the way parents treat their children, in the tradition of Tamil films that use young actors to make a point about education and family.
