Ganesh is a young graphic designer who uses a wheelchair and lives quietly, struggling for work and recognition. When a kidnapping case unfolds near him, he finds he has the skills, and the stubbornness, to help, using his technical know-how against the criminals while battling other people's low expectations of him. Jai Ganesh is a Malayalam thriller from Ranjith Sankar, who often builds his films around underdog heroes, with Unni Mukundan in a role far from his action-hero image. It was also noted for the return of actress Jomol to the screen after a long break.
