A group of friends who once worked together as hired guns have gone their separate ways. When one of them tries to leave the criminal life behind, the others are sent to kill him, and the reunion that follows tests old loyalties in a series of shoot-outs and standoffs. Bachelor Party is a Malayalam reworking of Johnnie To's Hong Kong film Exiled, and director Amal Neerad brings his signature style of slow motion, saturated colour and choreographed gunfights. The ensemble cast of Rahman, Kalabhavan Mani, Indrajith, Asif Ali and Vinayakan play off one another with dry humour, and Prithviraj appears in a guest role. Rahul Raj's music, including a much-discussed item song, adds to its cult appeal among fans of stylish action.
