Description

Uday Shetty and Majnu are dons who long to be respectable, and above all to find a good family for their sweet half-sister Sanjana. No decent family will have her, until Rajiv, a gentle young man, falls for her without knowing who her brothers are. His uncle, Dr. Ghungroo, is horrified and will do anything to stop the match, while the two gangsters try desperately to behave like civilised in-laws. Anees Bazmee's comedy, shot partly in Dubai and South Africa, was a huge hit and remains one of the most quoted Hindi comedies, thanks above all to Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor as the bickering bhais, Majnu's terrible paintings and Paresh Rawal's exasperation. A sequel, Welcome Back, followed in 2015.
