Aslam runs a puncture shop in a small Rajasthan town and spends his days quarrelling with his wife and feuding with his neighbour. When the Prime Minister, who heads a shaky coalition, visits the local dargah, Aslam is the caretaker on duty, and a muddled conversation ends with the PM granting him top-level Z-plus security. Overnight a squad of commandos moves into his tiny home, local politicians want a piece of him, and the man with nothing to protect becomes a national curiosity. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, best known for the television epic Chanakya and the film Pinjar, Zed Plus is a gentle political satire on Indian VIP culture and coalition politics, carried by Adil Hussain's warm comic performance.
