Mathru Devo Bhava

Mathru Devo Bhava, from the Sanskrit maxim 'revere the mother as God', is a Telugu family drama directed by K. Haranath Reddy, with Patanjali Srinivas and Amrutha Chowdary in the leads. It centres on a mother and the children she raises, setting love, duty and gratitude against the selfishness that can split a family apart. It is a small, sentimental production, distinct from the better-known 1993 Telugu film of the same name.
