18 Vayasu (2012)

18 Vayasu ("age eighteen") is a Tamil psychological drama from R. Panneerselvam, the director of Renigunta. It follows a troubled young man, played by Johnny, whose mental condition sets him apart from those around him, and the young woman, played by Gayathrie, who comes into his life. The film treats its subject as a dark, intense character study rather than a commercial thriller. It is a small film best suited to viewers interested in unusual Tamil cinema.
