Gunaah (1993)

Gunaah ("crime" or "sin") is a 1993 Hindi crime drama directed by Mahesh Bhatt. Sunny Deol plays a violent fugitive and Dimple Kapadia a police officer who becomes his hostage, and the film follows the shifting relationship between them as the hunt for him closes in. Coming after the pair had worked together in Narsimha and Arjun, it gives both actors intense roles, and it reflects Mahesh Bhatt's interest in damaged, morally conflicted characters. It was a modest success and is remembered as one of the darker films of Sunny Deol's action phase.
