A man wakes up in hospital after a long coma, surrounded by a family who insist he is their son. Yet the memories he holds point to a different identity, one tied to a woman, a job and a powerful enemy. Determined to find out who he really is, he follows the clues and uncovers a conspiracy that reaches high into the system. Lion is a Balakrishna action drama in which he takes on a double-edged role, with Trisha and Radhika Apte as the female leads; it was a Telugu outing for Radhika Apte between her Hindi and regional work.
