By day, Duvvada Jagannadham is a mild-mannered cook from a traditional Brahmin family in Vijayawada, preparing food for weddings and religious functions. By night, he is DJ, a ruthless vigilante who works in secret with a police officer to punish criminals the law cannot touch. His double life is threatened when he takes on a powerful real-estate scam run by a slick businessman, and when he falls for the lively Pooja. Harish Shankar's action entertainer gave Allu Arjun a showy dual-identity role, and its playful, colourful style made it a big commercial success in 2017. Devi Sri Prasad's music was popular, especially "Seeti Maar", which was later recreated in Hindi for Radhe (2021).
