Sanjay and Anupama meet as students: she is a confident senior and he is a junior with a crush. They grow close, and life later takes them to England, where their bond turns into a relationship that is tested by ambition, pride and the ordinary misunderstandings of two people who are not good at saying what they feel. The story is told in chapters over roughly a decade, with each stage of their lives showing a different side of the couple. The film is the third collaboration between director Srinivas Avasarala and Naga Shaurya after Oohalu Gusagusalade and Jyo Achyutananda, with music again by Kalyani Malik, and it was shot partly in the United Kingdom.
