Iron Sky: The Coming Race (2019)

Twenty years after nuclear war devastated the Earth, the last humans live in the former Nazi base on the dark side of the Moon, and the base is falling apart. Obi, the daughter of the heroine of the first film, learns that the only hope lies inside the hollow Earth, home of the Vril, shape-shifting reptilian beings who have secretly ruled humanity for millennia, among them a dinosaur-riding Hitler. She sets off with a ragtag crew to find a power source said to be hidden there. Iron Sky: The Coming Race is the Finnish-German sequel to the cult hit Iron Sky (2012) and, like its predecessor, was partly crowdfunded by fans. Timo Vuorensola returns as director, and Udo Kier plays two roles. It is broad science-fiction satire, packed with conspiracy-theory jokes and pop-culture send-ups.
