Ek Nazar (1951)

Ek Nazar ("one glance") is a 1951 Hindi film directed by O. P. Dutta, starring Karan Dewan and Nalini Jaywant, with the comedian Gope in support. It is a romantic drama of the early post-Independence years, built around love at first sight and the obstacles that follow, with songs at its heart in the manner of the period. Nalini Jaywant was then one of the leading heroines of Hindi cinema. A pleasant choice for viewers who enjoy black-and-white romances of the early 1950s.
