Meera's life is shattered when her husband and young son are killed in what appears to be a road accident on a stretch of national highway near Madurai. Refusing to accept the official explanation, she starts investigating and discovers that this part of the road has seen an unusual number of fatal crashes, and that a criminal pattern may lie behind them. A parallel story follows a man whose life is moving in a dark direction, and the two threads gradually converge. The film was promoted as being inspired by real incidents on the highway, and it gave Trisha a lead role as a determined, grieving investigator.
