The hero seems a carefree young man who falls for a girl played by Tamannaah, but he is in fact searching for a pair of gangsters who are now part of an international crime network. The trail leads to Bangkok and a series of confrontations, and in a flashback we learn about his father Bhupathi, a respected man whose generosity made him powerful enemies. Rebel is a stylish revenge action film from choreographer-director Raghava Lawrence, who also composed the music, and it pairs Prabhas with his uncle Krishnam Raju. It is known for its dance numbers and elaborate action sequences.
