Description

Amaanat ("something held in trust") brings together Manoj Kumar and Sadhana, who had earlier been a hit pair in Woh Kaun Thi?, with the great character actor Balraj Sahni. The film was made over a long period and reached cinemas only in 1975, after Balraj Sahni's death in 1973. It belongs to the family and social drama tradition of Hindi cinema of the period, with music and romance at its heart.
