Oyee (2016)

Oyee (2016) is a small-scale romantic drama directed by Francis Markus, starring newcomer Geethan Britto and Eesha Rebba. Set largely in a rural setting, it follows a young couple whose growing love meets resistance from family and circumstance. The film's music was composed by the veteran Ilaiyaraaja, which drew attention to an otherwise modest production.
