Yeh Mera India (2008)

Yeh Mera India follows a set of very different people across Mumbai whose paths cross over one day: professionals and labourers, believers of different faiths, the comfortable and the struggling. Each carries some prejudice, of religion, region, caste or class, and the day tests what they assume about one another. Directed by N. Chandra, best known for the eighties hits Ankush, Pratighaat and Tezaab, the film is an ensemble social drama in the multi-story style that was popular in the late 2000s, with a large cast led by Anupam Kher, Sarika and Rajpal Yadav.
