Bhoomi runs her own company and has no time for the parade of grooms her worried mother keeps lining up; she has turned so many down that the family has nearly given up. Then Aakash, an easy-going architect back from abroad, is hired for a project at her firm, and his patience and warmth slowly get past her guard. As the two grow closer, it emerges that Bhoomi's coldness has its roots in an earlier chapter of her life, and that Aakash may be connected to it. Varudu Kaavalenu, whose title means 'Groom Wanted', is a gentle romantic drama and the feature debut of director Lakshmi Sowjanya. It relies on the chemistry of Naga Shaurya and Ritu Varma, comic support from Vennela Kishore, and a breezy soundtrack, with the song 'Digu Digu Digu Naaga' becoming a hit.
