Uff Yeh Mohabbat (1997)

Uff Yeh Mohabbat is a 1997 Hindi romantic drama directed by Vipin Handa. It marked the acting debut of Abhishek Kapoor, who later turned to direction and made films such as Rock On!!, Kai Po Che! and Kedarnath, and it paired him with Twinkle Khanna, then one of the younger leading ladies of the decade. Anupam Kher appears in a supporting role. The story follows a romance that faces resistance and misunderstanding before the lovers can be together, told in the familiar song-filled style of 1990s Hindi love stories. It did not make much of a mark at the box office, but it is a curiosity for anyone interested in Abhishek Kapoor's beginnings in front of the camera.
