Colleges Kumaran (2008)

Kumaran is an ex-Army man who now runs the canteen at a college and has become a father figure to the students. When corruption, drugs and the schemes of powerful men begin to threaten the campus, he steps in to protect it, using the discipline and courage of his soldiering days. Colleges Kumaran is a Malayalam action drama directed by Thulasidas, with Mohanlal in the title role, Vimala Raman as the heroine and Siddique in support. It is a light, mass-oriented Mohanlal vehicle that mixes campus comedy with action, rather than one of his celebrated dramatic performances.
