Karan is a carefree rich young man in Australia until he meets Sana, a bright, warm girl who changes his life. When tragedy takes her from him, he turns to Sana's eccentric scientist uncle, who has built a time machine, and travels to the Mumbai of 2050, a city of flying cars, robots and towering skylines, where Sana has promised they would be reunited. Love Story 2050 was one of the most expensive Hindi films of its time and among the first to attempt large-scale science-fiction visual effects. It was made as a launch vehicle for Harman Baweja, son of director Harry Baweja, and despite the spectacle it was a major box-office failure. Priyanka Chopra plays a double role.
