Billa (2009)

Billa is a dangerous don running his operations from Malaysia, and the police have chased him for years. When he dies in a confrontation, the officer leading the case secretly recruits Ranga, a small-time crook who looks exactly like him, to take Billa's place and expose the gang from inside. Ranga learns to walk, talk and threaten like Billa, but then the only man who knew the truth is gone, and he finds himself hunted by both the gang and the police. Billa is the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Billa (2007), itself a remake of the Hindi classic Don (1978). Prabhas plays the double role, much of the film was shot in Malaysia, and his uncle Krishnam Raju appears in a key part.
