Ahankar (2022)

Ahankar ("pride" or "arrogance") is a 2022 Punjabi film led by Pardeep Verma, with Rajinder Kainth and Mandeep in the cast. It is a modest, independently made production of the kind that has found an audience online, built around a moral story in which a man's ego and stubbornness bring conflict to his family and community. Little has been documented about its making, and it is best approached as a simple, earnest Punjabi drama.
