As children, Chozhan and Rajiv were neighbours, and Rajiv's father, a former police officer, trained both in observation and combat. Rajiv turned out the sharper student but also the more ruthless one. Years later Chozhan runs a small shop in Singapore's Little India and quietly looks out for the people around him, until a high-profile assassination plot puts him face to face with his childhood friend, now a calculating killer. Enemy is a Tamil action thriller from Anand Shankar, the director of Iru Mugan, pitting real-life friends Vishal and Arya against each other as hero and villain. Most of the story is set in Singapore, and Thaman's songs and Sam C. S.'s score accompany the action.
