Strawberry (2015)

Strawberry is a 2015 Tamil horror-comedy written and directed by lyricist Pa. Vijay, who also plays the lead, a cheerful taxi driver who begins to experience strange, frightening events. They are linked to the spirit of a schoolgirl named Anu whose death is tied to a cover-up, and the driver, with help from others including a character played by Samuthirakani, is pushed to uncover what happened. The film mixes jump scares and comedy with a message about child safety, and Pa. Vijay, best known for his song lyrics, wrote it as a personal project.
