Description

Vijay Kapoor has built a business empire on hard work and principle, and his family is close and loving. When his son Ajay returns with modern ideas about how the company should be run, the two clash, and the quarrel grows into a rift that the women of the house and a scheming son-in-law make worse. Ek Rishtaa is a big family drama about pride, loyalty and reconciliation, pairing Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar as father and son for the first time, with Karisma Kapoor and Juhi Chawla. Nadeem-Shravan's songs, including 'Hum Ko Agar Pyar Hai', were popular, and the film was a moderate success for producer-director Suneel Darshan.
