Saranjeet Singh Talwar is an upright government officer who refuses to bow to Bhoodev Singh, a ruthless strongman who controls a district through fear and bribes. The clash costs Saranjeet dearly, and he goes to prison. When he comes out he takes on a new mission: instead of seeking revenge, he will force Bhoodev to see the error of his ways and reform, using every method from public shame to good old Sunny Deol muscle. Singh Saab the Great reunited Sunny Deol with Anil Sharma, his director on Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and The Hero, and with its slogan of 'badla nahin, badlaav' (change, not revenge) it combines social message with full-throated action. Prakash Raj plays the villain, and the film marked Urvashi Rautela's debut.
