Siddharth is the heir to a wealthy business family, devoted to the mother who raised him alone. When an accident leaves her critically ill and the doctors can do no more, a holy man tells him of a vow: live as a beggar for forty-eight days, with no one knowing who he really is, and his mother may recover. He walks away from his comforts to the streets, where he meets a young woman who has no idea of his secret, and where his scheming relatives and a criminal racket preying on beggars soon cross his path. Amma I Love You is the Kannada remake of the Tamil hit Pichaikkaran (2016), with Chiranjeevi Sarja in the lead and Nishvika Naidu making her debut as the heroine.
