Tony is a carefree, shameless opportunist who lives by his wits, changing loyalties as easily as the chameleon of the title. When he meets Niharika, a troubled young woman haunted by a terrible event in her past, he falls for her at once. To win her, he offers to hunt down the powerful men who destroyed her family, and the light romantic opening gives way to a violent game of deception in which Tony plays dangerous people against each other. Oosaravelli ("chameleon") reunited Jr. NTR with director Surender Reddy after Ashok, and pairs him with Tamannaah. It is known for its stylish action, a cool, morally slippery hero, and Devi Sri Prasad's chart-topping songs.
