Sutliyan (2022)

Sutliyan ("threads") is a Hindi family drama web series set in Bhilai, the steel town in Chhattisgarh, following a family whose three adult children have drifted apart and are drawn back home. Old resentments, unspoken secrets and the mother's quiet strength shape the story, which moves gently between humour and sadness as each sibling deals with their own crises. Ayesha Raza Mishra leads as the mother, with Shiv Panditt, Plabita Borthakur and Anjali Anand as the children. Directed by Ashish R. Shukla, the series is a small, warm slice-of-life about families and the ties that hold them.
