Govind is standing on the edge, ready to kill himself, when a stranger stops him and asks why. What follows is a comic flashback of his romantic misadventures with three very different women, each affair collapsing in its own absurd way, while the stranger's reactions keep the present-day frame lively. Potugadu is the Telugu remake of the Kannada hit Govindaya Namaha (2012), and it was directed by the same filmmaker, Pavan Wadeyar. It was a modest success for Manoj Manchu and is a breezy romantic comedy.
