Shiva is the unemployed son of a strict, disappointed father who never misses a chance to call him useless. He drifts through life with his friends until a woman he falls for and a threat to his family force him to show a side no one at home has seen. The film follows the familiar B. Gopal pattern of family emotion leading to a fierce faction-style showdown, with Gopichand in action mode, Nayanthara as the heroine and Prakash Raj as the father whose respect Shiva must win. Aaradugula Bullet ("six-foot bullet") was shot in the early 2010s but spent years in limbo; it finally reached audiences only in 2021, which makes it a time capsule of Telugu mass cinema of a decade earlier.
